Use your social voice.

We can use our social voices to offer information and support – in a simple, non-opinionated way – to anyone interested in defending our democracy.

Many of us know more than one group of people. We may be members of book clubs, faith communities, circles of school and childhood friends, exercise friends, neighborhood groups, or interest groups like a historical society.

We can use our social voices in these settings by sharing this website or newsletter if anyone is interested. (We also have some business cards with the web site if anyone wants to share them with a group. Email us at foshereandnow@gmail.com for more information.)

Some of us also connect with those groups on social media like Facebook, Bluesky, or Instagram. Posting about what you are following and doing is particularly powerful for reaching friends who get our activity in their feed.

Your social voice can be a gentle offering of information (always noting that subscribing to our web site is free) to help combat the constant flood of emails, texts and calls with that urgent emergency tone that we all know so well – and that usually end by requesting money. People can just browse our website at their own time and pace, and focus on the things that interest them, avoiding more information overload.
